As we did last year, we would like to invite anyone and everyone who would like to get together for dinner and take part in karting conversations. Apparently this off-season there's plenty to talk about! Our initial date for the Dec meeting is Dec 2nd. We are still waiting for confirmation on location, but we are looking at something in the Adrian area. I will post the exact time and location asap.
I was called after the banquet and told about the sad news of the track closing. While Dominic has mostly moved on to bigger tracks we certainly owe the Palmyra Speedway for getting us started. With that in mind we would like help in any way to keep the track alive. I think Palmyra Speedway has huge potential and it would be a shame to see it gone forever. With some organization, participation, hard work and dedication I believe it can be here to stay. Our Restaurant Racing dinners are a great opportunity to meet and discuss things like this, as well as keep in touch with friends with similar interests. There are also some very interesting developements in the Michigan Kart Club schedule that will directly effect the local karting scene.
Thanks, Dan admin@lcsodive.org

We had a great dinner last night after we finally settled on a restaurant. After changing from Thurs to Fri nights we apparently didn't take into consideration that many other people eat out on Fri nights. When we got to JR's we found a line out the door and a very long wait to seat about 20 people. Someone called Jerrys and found they had a separate room to accommodate us. We were able to notify everyone who had told us they were coming. I'm terribly sorry if anyone was missed!
It was nice to eat and mingle with the other kart families. We discussed the future of Palmyra and the MIS race in the works.
We didn't set a date or location but did plan to meet again in Jan. As usual we are open to suggestions.
Thanks Dan
