As I am sure everyone is aware we shut the track operations down in 2012. After the passing of my dad I listed the property with a realtor. At the end of January the website will be up for renewal. Since the track is shutdown I see no reason to continue keeping the main website up and running, I will however keep this forum up (it’s a free service). So if you have any interest, please bookmark this page for future reference.
The following is the ad as listed on the website. I would love to see someone take over the track and keep it going:
LEASING INFO:
Property/equipment Description:
- 8 +/- acres
- 1/6th mile Kidney shaped Asphalt Kart Track
- 2 out buildings
- 200 amp electrical service
- 1 Lg Grandstand
- 2 Sm Grandstands (1 wood - by track - 1 metal - in storage)
- Scale head and controller
- 20" push mower
- String Trimmer
- Walk-behind blower
- 2 refrigerators
The lease price would be $3000.00 annually.
This could be split up into 3, 4, 6, or 12 equal payments, and would require a 3yr agreement. The website domain name will likely be available to the either the lessee or purchaser at no additional cost other than the fees of the service provider. I will happily provide you with all of the items contained on the website at no cost.
Lessee Responsibilities:
All maintenance to the property, including, but not limited to the following:
- Lawn Care
- Trash Pick up
- General property up keep (including structures)
- Track surface up keep
- All Utilities (electric, trash, port-a-potty)
- The lessee will have the right to sub-lease all or portions of the property for other functions (They would be wholly responsible for any/all damages that might occur from any such endeavor).
